This is the biggest fanfiction project I have ever come up with. And the whole idea was born from that Naruto ending theme with “Broken Youth” with Sasuke and Naruto as wandering samurai. I really wanted to draw up a world where they are enveloped in… I just hope that I can pull through this one to the end… Below a video clip of the “Broken Youth” ending:
SN Notes and Setting
Okay there are eight stories that are tied together. All of them are independent tales. You may find that each other references the other and that at two stories you’ll see the same scene told at a totally different way. The need to include more than one tale was that I wanted different stories to reflect on my favorite characters in the story.
The main fanfic in this series is NSSCN, and that will be the main storyline that I’m using to stem out the entire plot.

Author Notes: This is a short story strictly focused on Sai and his profession. Timeline-wise the events in this story takes place one year before the start of NSSCN. Which is why I started working on this one at the same time I started with NSSCN. I think this is a good fic for those who are fans of Sai and want to read something about him that doesn’t picture him as a social-outcast but instead as an outsider that starts to blend into the daily occurrences in life…
Summary: Sai is a traveling artist; he has no stable home nor destination. He sells off maps and portraits that he creates to get by. One day while passing Gokoto, a bustling city that’s also known as a red light district, he meets a strange boy, Naruto. It’s not too long before they become friends… will that last when Sai’s past comes back to haunt him?
